Ilfracombe Town Council would like to thank all those who attended this week’s Annual Town Meeting which took place at the Ilfracombe Centre.
The Mayor, Chairs of all the sub-committees, and One Ilfracombe gave reports on the work of the council over the last year.
Mayor George Squires said: “We appreciate the efforts of all the meeting’s attendees. We have received some welcome feedback on the work that is being done on behalf of the town and it was particularly gratifying to hear members of the public say they believe this Town Council delivers value for money.
We will be considering all the matters that were raised by residents at the meeting, the future of the Tyrrell Hospital being the item which was spoken about the most and something we are already working hard to try to find a solution for, for the benefit of all residents.”
