Ilfracombe Fun Runners

This group is for anyone who is visiting or lives around Ilfracombe and runs frequently. We are fun and run several times a week. We also organise a few local races a year. Give us a shout and let’s go for a run together.

Ilfracombe Running Club

A very friendly and welcoming running club. Training is every Thursday, 7pm Ilfracombe Football Club. We cater for all abilities and meet back at the bar after for a pint. There is no obligation to join our club, please come along and enjoy our training sessions and then decide if you’d like to join after coming a few times.

Ilfracombe Ladies Circle

Ilfracombe Ladies Circle is a group of ladies who meet once a month. We support the Round Table and organize our own fundraising events to raise money for local groups and projects.

Ilfracombe Church Bell Ringers

Spreading the word to young and old about the benefits of bell ringing and how you can become a bell ringer in Ilfracombe. Learn a skill for life, get fit and be welcomed by new friends. The sound of bells ringing is deeply rooted in British culture. Bells provide the grand soundtrack to our historic moments and call out for our celebrations. Practice: Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church.

Ilfracombe Access Group

The Ilfracombe Access Group is a voluntary group working to improve access for residents and visitors alike. This is done through maintaining contact with local authorities, those with buildings open to the public and other relevant organisations.

Combe Rail

Combe Rail was set up in 2015 to preserve the heritage of the Barnstaple-Ilfracombe railway (1874-1970.) After extensive consultation, and surveys of the route, we are launching two exciting projects: a Railway Heritage Trail and a Community Light Railway. Promising discussions for both projects are in progress with North Devon Council. Combe Rail is a Charity (No.1164083) and we can reclaim Gift Aid on membership subscriptions and donations. Join us today to rebuild the railway!

Belle’s Place

Belle’s Place is a safe and friendly environment for young people to meet and socialise. Run by qualified and experienced youth workers who offer advice, support, guidance and information on a wide range of areas affecting young people. With access to other agencies and the wider community. All young people from the school year 7 are warmly welcomed to come and check us out.

The Liberal Club

CIU and NULC affiliated welcome – Temporary memberships available. A warm friendly atmosphere. Entertainment every Saturday and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the season. Pool, Darts, Snooker, Skittles, Table Skittles, Shove Half Penny, Dominoes. Bar Snacks, Tea & Coffee. Available for small functions with buffet prices to suit your pocket.

Ilfracombe Musical Memories

This is a social group with music and song for people with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s or Stroke Memory Difficulties and their carers. DON’T WORRY IF YOU CAN’T SING, you don’t have to be able to.You choose to join in as much or as little as you want. The sessions and refreshments are all FREE. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month between 2.00 – 4.00 pm. at There is FREE parking and easy access for wheelchair users ​People with memory difficulties must be accompanied.
