Community Action SW

Community Action South West is a charitable organisation that offers a range of services aimed at young people and the communities in which they live.

They currently have four main areas of work:

  • Alternative education
  • Health and well being
  • Youth and community work
  • Outdoor activities in the Taw Valley


Community Action Through Sport (CATS UK)

CATS offers all young people the opportunity to get involved in a positive way with their community. This positive action is then rewarded with sports activities and/or healthy living rewards. Very often sports that the young person has not had the opportunity to try or consider before.



Croyde Surf Club

Croyde Surf Club are proud to be pushing standards for British Surfing. Their aim is to develop surfing at a grass roots level and produce both British and World Champions of the future.

Duke Of Edinburgh (DofE)

A DofE programme is a real adventure from beginning to end.  It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from.  You just need to be aged between 14 and 24 and realise there’s more to life than sitting on a sofa watching life pass you by.
