Devon Wheels 2 Work is a not-for-profit company, based near Okehampton who offer two wheel transport to people in rural communities throughout Devon.

The helpline is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Love reading but can’t get to your library? The free home delivery service can bring books and CD’s to your door.

The service provides:

• Free delivery and collection at flexible times.
• A wide choice of titles.
• Large print books, audio books and CD’s.
• Free reservations
• No fines
• Items are delivered by trained and security-checked volunteers from Royal Voluntary Service

Get Connected is the free, confidential help for young people under 25 who need help and don’t know where to turn. The service is available 365 days of the year. Volunteers help explore their issues, offering emotional support and providing appropriate sources for further help.

Opening times: Phone or webchat  13:00 – 23:00 daily. By text or email – answered within 24 hours.

The service helps cancer patients in North Devon who must travel to Exeter for radiotherapy. Many would otherwise have to stay in the hospital hostel due to a shortfall in the current health service transport provision.
